How to display images on FRAMED device
You can display any image you find online on your FRAMED device.
- Find any image you like (high resolution preferred) or upload your own photos to any photo sharing website, icloud, flickr, google photos, dropbox.
- Find the photo, make sure its loaded at high resolution, and right click on it and get URL or "copy image address"
- Login to http://frm.fm and go to your "Feed"
- Click on "+" and paste the URL you copied from the photo (private or public).
- The photo will be added to your feed and you can click to display it on your framed.
How to add images other FRAMED users are sharing
- Find the image you like from other users’ profiles
- Click on the “+” located in the bottom right corner of the image.
How to remove items from your feed
- Find the item you would like to remove.
- Click on the “-” located in the top right corner of the item.
- Item will no longer show in your feed.
How to add Vimeo video to your feed
- Find the video that you like on vimeo
- copy the URL
- Click on "+" and paste the URL you copied from the video (private or public).
- The video will be added to your feed and you can click to display it on your framed.
How to add Youtube video to your feed
Simplified in 2.1.10 Update.
- Find the video that you like on Youtube
- Click on "+" and paste the URL you copied from the video (private or public).
- The video will be added to your feed and you can click to display it on your framed.
Note: If you would like to rotate the video, add "&display_rotate=enable" to the URL.
Old method for system software 2.1.9 and before - outdated.
- Find the video that you like on Youtube
- Copy the code that comes after youtube.com/watch?v=XXXXXXXXX
- Click on "+"
- Edit this URL inserting the above code twice instead of "XXXXXXXXX" in the url: https://www.youtube.com/embed/XXXXXXXXX?rel=0&autoplay=1&playlist=XXXXXXXXX&loop=1
- Add this new URL as a feed item (private or public).
- The video will be added to your feed and you can click to display it on your framed.
- If you would like to rotate the video, add also "&display_rotate=enable".
How to rotate any feed item
Use this code at the end of your URL when adding the URL to feed: “&display_rotate=enable”. This will rotate the image or video you want to display in your feed.
